Director David Yates, best known for his work on the last four Harry Potter films, has agreed to manage the whole series.
Another Harry Potter star joined the Fantastic Beasts ensemble in the third film. Seven of the eight Harry Potter films were written by Steve Kloves. Rowling and Kloves co-wrote the third film’s screenplay.
If Kloves returns in the Fantastic Beasts 4, we’d love to see him.

After Depp’s departure, Mikkelsen’s role was changed, and the COVID-19 pandemic, Warner Bros., moved the film’s release date to July 15, 2022. The film was rescheduled to be released three months early in September 2021, on April 15, 2022.
