Donald Cerrone Early Life
Donald Cerrone was born on March 3, 1983, in Denver, Colorado. Mixed martial arts is his career. He fought in the featherweight class starting in 2006 and continued until he retired in 2015. He made the switch to welterweight in 2016.
Cerrone and Nate Mohr met for the first time in a mixed martial arts tournament in February 2006. Cerrone had a successful kickboxing career before to MMA. Nine victories and zero defeats until he lost to Jamie Varner in January 2009 for the WEC Lightweight Championship.
As the Fight of the Night, Cerrone defeated Paul Kelly in February 2011 to earn his UFC debut. The UFC has named him best of the night in each of his first three bouts, in which he has knocked out three opponents, performed four times, and been submitted twice.
It was in June of 2016 when Cerrone defeated Patrick Cote, and he now has a career record of 30-7. Since 2013, he has fought at least four times a year, which has earned him the distinction of the most-fought UFC fighter.

On February 11th, 2006, Cerrone made his MMA debut at Ring of Fire 21: Full Blast. When he met Nate Mohr, he was able to submit him right away. After that, he had a streak of six victories in a row until falling to Kenneth Alexander in a no contest. After beating Danny Castillo and Rob McCullough in the WEC, Cerrone suffered his first loss.
Cerrone entered the UFC with a professional record of 13-3. On the 5th of February, 2011, he made his UFC debut in Las Vegas at UFC 126, where he fought for the first time. He submitted Paul Kelly in the final round of their battle. The next three matches were all victories, and I was on a roll. Donald Cerrone has never been beaten before by a UFC fighter until Nate Diaz did so on December 30th, 2011.
Donald Cerrone rebounded from a career-ending loss against Anthony Pettis with back-to-back victories. After losing to Rafael dos Anjos in August 2013, Cerrone was unbeaten for the next eight bouts until his title defense against RDA in April of 2015. Cerrone built a mixed martial arts training center in Edgewood, New Mexico, in 2014 to save money on the costs of his training camps. Some of the individuals he presently coaches there include athletes like Lando Vannata and John Dodson, as well as trainers like Brandon Gibson and Jafari.
The BMF Ranch, where Cerrone and his family reside, is situated near Edgewood, New Mexico, just outside of Santa Fe. His grandmother helped him buy the ranch he’d always wanted since he’d always wanted to own one.
