JJ Perry will be making his directorial debut with this film. Producer Chad Stahelski, who also served as stunt coordinator for John Wick: Chapter Two, stated in an interview, “I’ve known and worked with Perry for a long time. Day Shift is a terrific start for him as a filmmaker because of his original idea for the film.
Laughter and violence are hinted at in the clip, full of high-octane excitement. Foxx appears to be immersing himself in character so that viewers can anticipate plenty of thrilling sequences. Also, Snoop Dogg‘s acting debut in this picture promises to be entertaining. It’s not hard to understand why Netflix wanted to fund the production of this film, given that the idea alone—a “pool cleaning job” combined with “vampire hunting”—sounds like it would be amusing.
