Shefali Shah, who is one of Bollywood’s most prominent performers, is a major celebrity in her own right. She has turned up some stellar performances in films like Monsoon Wedding, Waqt: The Race Against Time, Dil Dhadakne Do, and the most recent, Darlings, opposite Alia Bhatt.
Her versatility and acting prowess have brought her praise from the critics.
Shefali has earned the respect of Bollywood audiences with her no-holds-barred commentary. Shefali recently gave a promotional interview for Yuvaa, discussing the most significant warning sign in a relationship.
Explaining why ‘disrespect’ is a deal-breaker for her, she said,
Disrespect might begin with a joke that seems harmless at first, and you may not even realize it’s being disrespectful.
It starts with the lyrics, “Arey wo Toh Aisa hi Karta hai…arey wo toh aise hi karti hai…arey isko thodi na samajh aayega.” After a certain period, the humor wears thin. You need to speak out; if you can’t, there’s a problem. Forget about it if you believe I want to tell you anything important; the response would be negative.
She adds, Worrying about being judged for the good, terrible, or ugly version of oneself is a red flag. You deserve to experience unconditional love and safety in a relationship. You shouldn’t stress about whether or not it’s any good; instead, you should just let it go.
