Kevin Nash and current sensation Will Ospreay are engaged in an entertaining social media battle of words.
Will Ospreay, who has wrestled for NJPW, AEW, and other firms, has had a stellar year on the in-ring mat.
Recently, Ospreay was defeated by Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the G1 Climax. Current IWGP United States Champion Ospreay has received much acclaim for his work in the ring, with particular acclaim coming from Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, who has given Ospreay four five-star ratings in August.
Meltzer rated Ospreay’s performance in the AEW Dynamite six-man tag team main event on August 24 as one of the five-star efforts we’ve seen from him recently.
According to WrestlingBanana, a Twitter account dedicated to professional wrestling, Ospreay has more five-star bouts (again, according to Meltzer) than CM Punk, John Cena, and Kurt Angle combined.
Meltzer says the three guys have three five-star pairings. In reality, according to Meltzer’s ratings, Angle has never been in a five-star contest.
Nash, a WWE legend who has been inducted twice, read the post and asked a straightforward question regarding merchandising.

Ospreay evidently noticed that tweet from Nash and chose to make a sarcastic comment regarding a well-known injury Nash received on WWE Raw around twenty years ago.
Did you tear your quads writing this tweet ? https://t.co/Zyo1uVrroW

Ospreay also laughed at the absurdity of such comment.
The App is jokes when you think about it.
I put effort into my job & people will either argue with each other or put people down.
You know what’s gonna be jokes. When I get 26 “5 stars” & say “I’m better than Misawa”
You’re all gonna fight each other 😂 yet nothing changes

Ospreay’s goods sales prompted a response from Kenny Omega of AEW.
Justifiably putrid, good sir https://t.co/H9qs18QWgz

Several months have passed since Ospreay and Omega began their carefully orchestrated rivalry.
This next Wednesday on Dynamite, Ospreay, and Aussie Open will be facing off against Omega and The Young Bucks for the AEW Trios Tag Team Title in a match that will take place in the same ring.
