Voting is open now until January 31st, and the SAG Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 26th.
The call for entries for this year’s film and television honors has opened, and the nomination panel has been established. The 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards nomination voting session will open on December 5 and end on January 8.
Nominations will be released on January 11th, four days before the Critics’ Choice Awards show. Nominations for the last round of voting will be accepted after February 24.
After longstanding partner TNT and its sister network TBS abandoned the program as part of the ongoing restructuring at Warner Bros.-Discovery after the merger, the awards still do not have a TV berth.
Recent coverage from Variety indicated that the hunt for a new network was still in progress.
Popular films like “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,” and “Top Gun: Maverick” are expected to be among this year’s best. Large dramatic ensembles like those seen in “The Banshees of Inisherin,” “Tár,” “Triangle of Sadness,” and “Women Talking” are likely to be present.
Following is a complete calendar of important dates.
