EXCLUSIVE Ganeshotsav! Vrushali Chavan’s affinity to Ganesha is beyond words.

Vrushali Chavan News: Everyone is looking forward to getting a glimpse of Lord Ganesha and receiving His blessings during the upcoming Ganeshotsav holiday.

Everyone is looking forward to getting a glimpse of Lord Ganesha and receiving His blessings during the upcoming Ganeshotsav holiday. There are several songs dedicated to Ganesha, but none more so than Divya Kumar‘s “Om Ganpataye Namah,” which features the exquisite Vrushali Chavan. Sundaresan of Mid-Satish Day interviewed Vrushali Chavan about the music video’s creation.

Vrushali Chavan greets us with “Om Ganpataye Namah” with a voice as lovely as a songbird’s and a smile as infectious as her laughing. We had to question her about the music video when we heard those three words. She responds, “The whole filming experience was fantastic.” I still get chills just thinking about or describing the tune.

Om Ganpataye Namah is Vrushali Chavan’s latest Ganesh Chaturthi song

That’s why the song’s hypnotic vocals by Divya Kumar and Raghav Sachar are so effective at evoking such a strong emotional response. The fact that the video was recorded in a single day may be shocking to some. On the outskirts of Mumbai, there was a nice green location where we filmed. I swear to you when the director would shout “Action,” I’d sense a surge of adrenaline that would seamlessly translate into my dancing steps.

Vrushali Chavan says the song depicts Goddess Parvati’s relationship with Lord Ganesha. Jay Parikh, the song’s director, and cinematographer, beautifully portrayed the relationship between Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha.

We couldn’t help but inquire about Vrushali Chavan’s history of dancing after seeing the fluid and precise moves she portrays in the song. A response from Pat: “I have a Bachelor of Performing Arts” (Bharat Natyam). After that, I began my career as a choreographer for dance reality series including “Dance India Dance,” “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,” “DID Lil Masters,” and many more.

Let me tell you something extremely personal: my relationship with Lord Ganesha is incredibly close and meaningful to me. Maybe that’s why I felt a specific way about the ‘kid’ when I was choreographing the sculpting motions of the music. The hand of God must have been involved there. What I want to say is that my relationship with Lord Ganesha is indescribable.

Vrushali said, “Actually, the song’s director had seen me in the film ‘ABCD- Any Body Can Dance,’” when asked how she got the song. To verify whether it was me in the movie, he grabbed a snapshot and gave it to me.

When I answered that I was interested, he said he needed to see additional photos of me from different angles since he was trying to find someone who could convincingly play Parvati Maa. My face, he said, was a great match. I have no words to describe how fortunate I felt to hear those words. What happened after that is, well, history.

Vrushali choreographs dances for both reality show participants and Bollywood artists. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Vrushali was born with a beautiful face. She said, “I have been there, done that,” when asked whether she ever considered acting. I’m there, too, and I’m doing it. I have also acted in over-the-top (OTT) series like “Prem Gajra Aur Chilli Chicken,” “Pablo,” “Rishta.com,” and “Anuradha,” to give just a few examples (on Planet Marathi). I am also working on a top-secret Marathi film that would blow people away. But I assure you, Mid-Day will be the first to know as soon as I am able to discuss it.

Vrushali, we know you’re telling the truth.
