In the United States, a new TV show based on Ahsoka Tano will soon air as part of the Star Wars canon. The program will go into sci-fi, action, adventure, and drama. The Drama is mostly a spinoff from The Mandalorian, another Star Wars universe series that features Ahsoka Tano. The producers have not yet said when This Drama will be available, but 2023 is the year it will debut.
It’s worth noting that Ahsoka Tano wasn’t only a supporting player in The Mandalorian; she was also a major player in other Star Wars works. It seems to take place five or six years after the events of Return of the Jedi, making it compatible with The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
The show’s creators are Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. While Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kathleen Kennedy serve as executive producers. The show will be produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Disney Platform Distribution. It is generally accepted that the United States is the country of origin and that English is the language of origin.
What Will Ahsoka Be About?
Already, the upcoming live-action TV series starring Rosario Dawson has been filed away with the other limited Star Wars series. On December 10, 2020, the series was officially announced. Earlier, on May 26, 2022, showrunners Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau promoted the series at LucasFilm’s Star Wars celebration panel.
Along with Filoni, Favreau, and Chopper, Dawson made a personal appearance while dressed in character. At the same Star Wars event, they screened footage from the first three weeks of filming. The return of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano on The Mandalorian was expected after the December 2020 announcement.
Then, Natasha Liu Bordizzo was selected to play the role of Sabine Wren. The news that Hayden Christensen would be returning as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader came in October. After Mary Elizabeth Winstead and a few others were added to the cast, Ivanna Sakhno was spotted joining the team for a mysterious role.
When Is The Series Coming Out?
Series production began soon after Ahsoka appeared in previous Star Wars shows like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. The character of Grand Admiral Thrawn was the target of Ahsoka’s search in this episode. Lucasfilm, the company responsible for the Star Wars films, had announced several spin-off series, such as Ahsoka and The Book of Boba Fett, for the Disney Plus original series The Mandalorian.
Aside from the Mandalorian and Ahsoka, the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series also debuted around the same time. By April of 2022, Peter Ramsey will have directed at least one episode of the Series, with Dave also directing several episodes. The shoot for Ahsoka kicked off on May 9, 2022. Production began in Los Angeles, California, with the title Stormcrow as a working title.
The Availability of Ahsoka
While the exact date of Ahsoka’s debut has not been announced, we do know that it will be sometime in 2023, likely after the debut of The Mandalorian season 3 in the same month.
The following actors have been cast as the show’s primary protagonists and antagonists. Star Wars fans know that Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano was once Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan.
Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) is a young Mandalorian warrior, a graffiti artist, a former bounty hunter, and a dropout from the Imperial Academy. She also has a deep understanding of weapons and explosives. Ahsoka’s former Jedi master, Anakin Skywalker (played by Hayden Christensen), did turn to the Dark Side and become a Sith Lord under the name Darth Vader.
On the other hand, there have been a few mysterious figures. Some of the artists who have been cast in the upcoming series are Ivanna Sakhno and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, though their specific roles have not been announced just yet. In addition, Ray Stevenson will be portrayed as the antagonist.
As a bonus, Hera Syndulla and Chopper are the only two cast members who have been confirmed for the upcoming limited series.

The upcoming series will likely consist of around seven episodes. The conflict between Ahsoka and another Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, is also likely. As with The Mandalorian, the events of Ahsoka probably occur some five or six years after those depicted in Return of the Jedi.

What To Expect From Ahsoka?

The episode guide has not yet been provided by the makers of the show. However, it is expected that the episodes will have a run time of about forty to fifty minutes. The show is also speculated to have a total of six or seven episodes, which is not entirely accurate.
The Series trailer was officially launched on January 3rd, 2022. The trailer shows a brief shot of Hera, inside Ahsoka’s T-6 shuttle. It also had a noticeably short clip of a hand trying to move a cup on a table with some force which is expected to belong to Hera’s son Jacen Syndulla. Sabine Wren was not seen getting featured in the released trailer.
