Tokyo Revengers Season 2 News: Ken Wakui is the guy behind the hit Japanese comic series, Tokyo Revengers. The series has been running in the Weekly Shnen Magazine since March 2017. The April–September 2021 airing of Liden Films’ adaptation of an anime TV series. Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers will air in Japan in January 2023. A live-action film version of the series debuted in Japan in July 2021. During Takemichi Hanagaki’s second year of middle school, his life reached its zenith, which is depicted in this series.
Tokyo Revengers Season 1
He was well-liked by his peers, had a trustworthy set of friends, and was in a committed relationship with a beautiful woman. To be fair, however, it was a whole decade ago. But now he’s a washed-up nobody, laughed at by youngsters, and forced to apologize over and again to his younger boss. To rub salt in the wound, the Tokyo Manji Gang ruthlessly killed his one and only lover and her brother in an unexpected news report.
Before his miserable end, Takemichi has a flashback to the same day twelve years earlier, when he was still dating Hinata Tachibana. After being forced to relive the day that started his downward spiral, Takemichi meets Hinata’s younger brother. He quickly accepts his seeming demise and then travels across time.

When Takemichi suddenly teleports back in time, he orders him to protect his sibling. Fortunately, he is still among the living. The altered future is even stranger. It seems as if Takemichi can manipulate time. Takemichi opts to use time travel to prevent his ex-death girlfriends at the hands of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of the popular Ken Wakui anime Tokyo Revengers was confirmed during Jump Festa 2022. The team has started filming episodes, but there is no official word on when the show will premiere.
Tokyo Revengers’ release date is still unknown, however, fans believe it will be sometime in the winter of 2023. Tokyo Revengers Season 2 can be viewed on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and HBO Max. You may also get dubbed episodes of the anime on Crunchyroll. The whole of Tokyo Revengers, all 24 episodes, are available for free viewing on the Muse Asia channel on YouTube.
About Tokyo Revengers Season 2
Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen is the official Japanese title for Season 2. According to BD/DVD distributor Pony Canyon, the English title of the sequel anime will be Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will premiere in January of 2023, though the exact date has not yet been set.
Tokyo Revengers Season 1 plot
Manjiro Sano (aka Mikey), leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang, makes the official announcement that the Gang and Valhalla would join forces, with Hanma taking leadership of the new sixth division. They praise Kisaki as a savior, and Chifuyu recommends Takemichi as captain of the first team.
Takemichi finds that he has advanced in his career since he last visited the present. After the death of Draken and the disappearance of Mikey and Mitsuya, Kisaki has been put in charge in Mikey’s absence. During the executive meeting, he arrests Takemichi and Chifuyu and informs them that police have raided the Tokyo Manji Gang. Chifuyu says he tipped off the police to get vengeance on Kisaki for killing Baji. The “hero” Kisaki readies his gun and prepares to kill Takemichi.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will follow Takemichi’s journey when he returns to the current day, as outlined by the “Christmas Showdown Arc.” As Takemichi’s allies continue to die, he discovers that the Tokyo Manji Gang has grown into a huge criminal operation by absorbing the Black Dragons.
He learns that Taiju, the current head of the Black Dragons and Hakkai Shiba’s cruel elder brother, ordered him to quit the Tokyo Manji Gang and join the Black Dragons, which led to the eventual merger of the two gangs when he travels back in time.

Tokyo Revengers season 2 expected storyline
In the anime TV series Tokyo Revengers Season 2, Takemachi Hanagaki will time travel once again to fight the Black Dragons, a gang that subverts the Toman from the inside out. As a result of Takemichi’s actions, these thugs will learn the manga’s title. Due to Tatsuhisa Suzuki’s departure, Japanese voice actor Masaya Fukunishi (Blue Period, Haikyuu!!) will take up the role of Draken in Tokyo Revengers 2. Fukunishi will reprise his role as Draken for the rebroadcast of Season 1 in Japan in July 2022 and the publication of a two-disc Blu-ray box set that same year.
