Sister Wives Season 17 News: On the next season of Sister Wives on TLC, viewers will see Kody Brown’s breakup with Christine.
The long-running series, which premiered in 2010, centers on Kody, the patriarch of the Brown family, and his many wives.
Kody is now seeing Meri, Robyn, and Janelle Brown, however, he has broken up with a fourth woman from their marriage, Christine.
The teaser for Sister Wives Season 17 confirms that the program will focus on the repercussions of Christine and Kody’s divorce, including scenes from Kody’s other wives’ reactions.
Fans may need a refresher on what transpired between Kody and Christine and why things are so heated in the upcoming episodes when the scenes are broadcast on TLC.

What Happened With Sister Wives Season 17 Stars Kody Brown and Christine?
On Instagram in November of 2021, Christine confirmed that she and Kody had separated.
In a Facebook post, Christine issued the following statement: “It was a tough choice, but after more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I’ve decided to leave.
As we raise our lovely children and provide for our amazing family, we will remain strong influences on one another. Please extend your patience and care to us as we work through this difficult period at home.
Kody responded with his own statement, which read: “There’s a lot of regret about Christine’s departure.
Although we are headed in separate directions, we will always be devoted parents and have a deep appreciation for the years we spent together.
Considering the pressure that Season 16 of Sister Wives indicated the COVID-19 epidemic was putting on Christine and Kody’s relationship, the revelation of the breakup may not have been as much of a surprise to fans.
Kody’s harsh rules for his wives produced friction amongst them since he required them to stay inside their own homes while he was free to visit his other relatives.
Sister Wives Season 17: As Christine said in the episode, Kody has stopped wanting an “intimate connection” with her.
I’m not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore, he told me,” Christine claimed on Sister Wives. If there’s no passion in a marriage, I can’t see myself lasting.
Christine also said that Kody didn’t accompany their daughter Ysabel to the hospital for surgery before Sister Wives Season 17 of the TLC program.
The celebrity revealed in August that Ysabel, who is now 19, will be undergoing surgery in New Jersey to treat her scoliosis in September 2020.
Kody decided against joining Christine and Ysabel on their trip because he was concerned about becoming sick while on the road.
