Zendaya Emmys 2022 News: By taking home the trophy for best actress in a drama series for her work on “Euphoria,” Zendaya once again carved out a place for herself in the annals of Emmy history.

With her first win for “Euphoria” in 2020, she set a record for youngest lead actress in a drama. In addition to being the first Black woman to win the Emmy for lead actress in a drama series twice, Zendaya Emmys 2022, at age 26, is the youngest actress to win two Emmys.

The award was given to her for her performance as Rue in the second season of the critically acclaimed show “Euphoria.” After the premiere’s success, the show was renewed for a third season in February. On January 9th, the second season premiere drew 14 million viewers between HBO and HBO Max.

In addition to making history as the youngest performer at this year’s ceremony, Zendaya has also set a new benchmark by becoming the youngest star to be nominated for an Emmy for producing.
