For HARDY, Lainey Wilson says she would “fight a grizzly bear.”

On Tuesday, several of HARDY’s friends and other musicians, including Lainey Wilson, came together to celebrate his 32nd birthday (September 13). The “Heart Like A Truck” singer shared two concert photographs with HARDY on Instagram. Wilson mentioned their recent work together as she showed the photos onstage and vowed to “fight a grizzly bear” for him. In the caption, she penned:

It’s this idiot’s birthday, and I want to wish him well. If a grizzly bear attacked me, I know you would battle it, and vice versa. Ps. To what extent may I now exit the truck? There’s been a long wait in here, and I’m getting antsy… (‘Wait In The Truck’) (‘HARDY’)

As in late August, you may listen to “Wait In The Truck,” a collaboration between Wilson and HARDY. The song video shows HARDY taking things into his own hands after discovering Wilson in an unhealthy relationship (ultimately, ending up behind bars, though Wilson still visits him in prison years after the incident). It was “arguably one of THE greatest music videos I’ve ever been a part of,” Wilson stated at the time. I believe it has the potential to drastically improve people’s quality of life.
