Concerns about the model and actress Cara Delevingne’s recent conduct were exacerbated by reports that she did not appear at her own event at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on Monday.
Delevingne teamed up with the label of the late German designer Karl Lagerfeld to create a capsule collection of gender-neutral, versatile clothing and accessories. The model, who has been involved with the collection for the last several years, recently told Vogue that Lagerfeld “would be incredibly happy with what we have done and how we have achieved it.”
A capsule launch for the partnership took place on Monday evening in the thick of NYFW, with a plethora of celebs and fashionistas in attendance; the collection itself was released internationally on September 8. Multiple accounts agree that only Cara Delevingne herself is absent.

Fans’ concerns about Cara Delevingne’s well-being have been fueled in recent weeks by her absence from the event and other instances of what they perceive to be unusual conduct on her part.
The Only Murders in the Building actor has recently been reported to have appeared shoeless and fidgety at an airport, and a video with 1.8 million views at the time of publication shows Delevingne barefoot, apparently talking on the phone as she spins around erratically outside the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
On the red carpet of the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, where she was assisting rapper Megan Thee Stallion, she exhibited some odd behavior, according to admirers, who first noticed it in July. She went on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show to defend her role as the rapper’s hype lady, saying that she was just enjoying herself.

Cara Delevingne was referring to Megan Thee Stallion’s clothing, a black and beige Mugler miniskirt with a halter top and a flowing scarf that draped to the side: “I was standing behind her, and then she was attempting [do] the thing with fashion [where you] flip your [dress], and she couldn’t really.” “I was cheering her on and encouraging her, telling her, ‘Yeah, go!'”
The performer went on, “Soon after that, I found myself capturing shots while lying on the ground. It’s just what I do, why. Just a lot of enthusiasm on my part. So I’m like, “Guys, let me get my perspective!” I work in photography. We had a blast.”
I was living my best life, but others thought it a little bit unusual, she added. “People think me unusual, but that’s me. No shame.”
Cara Delevingne has openly acknowledged that she is different from the norm; her Twitter profile now states, “EMBRACE YOUR WEIRDNESS!”
