Looking for a night at the movies with a lot of A-listers? With Jon Hamm in the lead, the new comedy Confess Fletch is a great pick.
Fletch (Hamm) is a “roguishly charming endlessly bothersome” guy, and the film is based on Gregory Mcdonald‘s 1976 book of the same name. While looking for a stolen art collection, Confess Fletch becomes the top suspect in a murder investigation, which leads to some strange situations.

On Friday, September 16th, the movie became available on Video on Demand, and it is expected to premiere on Showtime in late October. Fans who can’t wait may buy the movie now for $24.99 on Prime Video or one of these other services:
It becomes clear to Confess Fletch that the only way to establish his innocence is to identify the real killer among a cast of characters that includes everyone from the oddball art dealer to the deranged next-door neighbor and even Fletch’s Italian lover. The film’s tagline is “Crime, in truth, has never been this unorganized.”
The serial that this film is based on also provided the basis for the Chevy Chase-starring flicks Fletch (1985) and Fletch Lives (1989). Also, Hamm’s co-star from Mad Men, John Slattery, appears in this film as well.

Marcia Gay Harden, Kyle MacLachlan, Roy Wood Jr., Annie Mumolo, and Lorenzo Izzo appear in the Greg Mottola film Confess, Fletch. Mottola, Mark Kamine, Andrew Golov, Thom Zadra, and David List serve as executive producers. Connie Tavel, Bill Block, and Hamm are the film’s producers.
