Carrie Johnson arrives at the Queen’s funeral
Her getup followed the guidelines for royal funeral attire, which call for black dresses and shoes to be worn below the knee, and she sported what is quickly becoming the de rigueur headwear for the Queen’s mourning period: a black turban. Veiling headband in the shape of a pillar box hat.

Plus, a gold necklace and a black Grace Han purse with gold accents.
And Carrie isn’t the only political lady in attendance.
Samantha Cameron, like her mother, was seen sporting a pillar box hat, along with dangling earrings and bold lip color.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern stood out from the crowd with a simple black hat, large dangling earrings, and a sash with tasseled trimming across the shoulders.
