Charlamagne Tha God Dispels the Rumor That Remy Ma Will Take Over for Angela Yee on “The Breakfast Club”

Charlamagne Tha God has disputed that Remy Ma would replace Angela Yee as one of his co-hosts on The Breakfast Club in an interview with TDE signee Doechii on the programme.

As in, “Where is Angela?” Doechii posed this question around 33:05 into the video. She’s not here, she’s really in Chicago,” DJ Envy said in response to Doechii’s question on the long-time co-impending host’s departure. Both Charlamagne and Envy congratulated her on having her own programme.

Why was it that she was given her own show?” “What the heck did you do?” Doechii inquired cheerily. Charlamagne said, “Nothing!” Like a spinoff, “She’s got her own programme, and it airs just after we do.”

Doechii then questioned how he felt overall about the scenario. He stated, “I don’t know whether I should be glad or sad, but we did build something really, truly fantastic together.”

Because of their long history of working together, Envy said that he is “sorry” about Yee’s leaving. I haven’t opened the box yet, but I don’t feel sad. “But there is something there,” he insisted. I’m thrilled for her, but I’m also thrilled for radio as a medium because I think her presence in the middle of the day will inject some much-needed personality into the airwaves and give us a chance to showcase some fresh talent.

The two co-hosts quickly shut down Doechii’s claim that she’d received a rumour that Remy Ma would be taking over for Yee.

Charlamagne Tha God said, “No, that’s not true.” “That’s just some wild gossip.” Doechii laughed and said she would host the programme, but they both knew she would only play her own music.

According to an interview he gave recently, Charlamagne Tha God has a deal with Power 105.1 FM that runs until the year 2025. He also shared the news that the show would be adding a new co-host in the near future.

No one can take Angela Yee’s place, but we are a team. Therefore, he said, “the club must grow, and new members will be recruited.” People may be thinking, “Is The Breakfast Club expanding?” Yes.”

Yee said in August that she will be leaving The Breakfast Club. Before the end of the year, she will premiere a new programme on iHeartRadio.
