The suspect sped off after tragically colliding with actress Lisa Banes.

On Wednesday, the man accused of killing “Gone Girl” actress Lisa Banes last year by hitting her with an electric scooter pleaded guilty to manslaughter and is set to be sentenced to one to three years in jail.

Banes, 27, was killed in June 2021 when she was struck by the scooter driven by Brian Boyd, who will be jailed on November 30.

Banes, who was 65 at the time of his death on July 14, 2021, passed away at a hospital. She has roles in films including 2014’s “Gone Girl” and 1988’s “Cocktail,” and TV programs like “Nashville,” “Madam Secretary,” “Masters of Sex,” and “NCIS.”

Boyd, who had first left the scene after colliding with Banes, was apprehended a few weeks later. On Wednesday, he entered a guilty plea to charges of second-degree homicide and failure to report an accident.

Prosecutors in Manhattan had asked for a term of three to nine years, thus the deal offered to Boyd was a reduction.
