There have been many failed attempts over the years to remake the famous 1922 horror picture Nosferatu, but it seems like Robert Eggers‘ reworking of the gothic story is finally on the right track.
Bill Skarsgard and Lily-Rose Depp Reportedly Cast in Nosferatu Reboot
According to Deadline, Robert Eggers will direct and write the picture, and the cast includes IT’s Bill Skarsgard and The Barbarian’s Lily-Rose Depp. Nosferatu will be played by Stellan Skarsgard, while the individual who is tormented by him will be played by Johnny Depp. Focus Features is now handling the production as well.
The young lady (Depp) in 19th-century Germany is tormented by a vampire (Skarsgard) from ancient Transylvania who begins to hunt her, bringing with him an unimaginable terror in the gothic story.
