In response to a popular tweet wondering whether he would ever host again, he tweeted, “F—- that,” along with a video from the 2020 ceremony he hosted. The now-famous tweet asked its followers to “retweet” whether they wanted “Gervais” to host the Golden Globes once again in 2023.
