In an interview with ET’s Matt Cohen, Wright spoke about her first audition for Loving and the City, where her character ended up on All My Children 30 years ago.
Wright competed in a videotape audition with 20 other ladies for the role of Ally Rescott. When she received a callback, she flew from Washington, D.C., to New York City. With little optimism, she worked at her father’s gas station.
As a longtime admirer of the show, Wright claimed she went to the audition to take pictures with the other actors.
