What characters will return in the second season of the anime?
The protagonist of “Tokyo Revengers” is Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old jobless man who lives a miserable life. When Takemichi is 14, he joins the Toman gang, popularly known as the Tokyo Manji Gang (TMG). A 15-year-old known as “Mikey,” Manjiro Sano leads the gang, which is led by Draken, another senior member of the Toman organization.

There are many members of Toman who appear in the anime, but a few high-ranking lads play a significant part in the developing drama. You’ll find Keisuke Baji, the first-division-captain Tomen, Takashi Mitsuya of the second-division Tomen, and a host of other active members like Chifuyu Matsuno, Atsushi Sen, and Kazushi Yamagishi.
The plot of Tokyo Revengers Season 2
After learning that his ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana and her younger brother were slain by the Tokyo Manji Gang in the opening scenes of “Tokyo Revengers,” 26-year-old Takemichi discovers that he has nothing to live for.
Even though Takemichi is depressed, he has the power to change history when he returns 12 years in time.
When Takemichi returns to the current day, he finds that he was able to warn Hinata by taking advantage of the situation. His acts, however, have had unintended repercussions.
This gives Takemichi the capacity to switch back and forth between the present and a time 12 years ago when he was still trying desperately to establish control over Toman and prevent an unprecedented number of violent episodes. Takemichi is definitely out of his depth in this situation if the gang is unstable and violent.
After a long search, Takemichi finally learns at the end of the first season that he has been given leadership of the first division. Although Takemichi’s life is at risk, the audience is kept guessing as to what will happen next. With Takemichi in the middle of a potentially catastrophic crisis, Tokyo Revengers Season 2 is expected to pick off just where Season 1 left off.
