Katie Maloney Hints at “Awkward” Season of Vanderpump Rules Due to Her Divorce from Tom Schwartz

Vanderpump Rules season 10 preview video featuring Katie Maloney.

The Bravo personality promises that viewers will witness several “awkward [and] unpleasant” exchanges between herself and her ex-husband Tom Schwartz throughout the forthcoming season. It was formalized on October 13 after the pair had separated in March following six years of marriage.

Katie Maloney told Erin Lim Rhodes of E! News exclusively at BravoCon 2022 on October 16 that the discomfort between her and Tom had an impact on the whole VPR cast “Let’s just say I didn’t feel like many people cared about me. There were many purported pals who were truly unreliable.”

It’s probable that “tension” between Katie and her ex will be addressed in Season 10 as well since Tom’s suspected romance with co-star Raquel Leviss has been a source of that.

Katie Maloney, like other exes, has found it difficult to see Tom move on, but she says they’ve made an effort to “prioritize our relationship” and that “there wasn’t any hatred or resentment or anything like that.”

The 35-year-old went on to say, “I still wanted us to have a degree of respect for one another, so I tried to keep my life and what I was doing separate and private to not upset him with that.”

The ‘Magpie Murders’ has all the elements of a great British mystery.

Where is the relationship between her and Tom stand right now? In a more optimistic tone, Katie said, “I believe we’re in a better position.”

Katie Maloney addressed reports that she was excluded from Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ August 23 wedding in Mexico when conversing with Erin on the BravoCon red carpet.

The reality star was not invited to Brock and his fiancee’s wedding, but Brock said in an Instagram post on August 29 that she went on a “ladies’ vacation” to the south with the rest of the group.

Katie Maloney defended herself by saying, “I was not unwelcome.” Let’s just say it wasn’t the actual sequence of events. As it stands, viewers will have to wait until VPR’s return to find out what actually happened in Mexico.

In the whole film above, you can hear Katie discuss a variety of topics, including which VPR star she believes Andy Cohen loves the most.
