Lakers superstar LeBron James re-upped with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday for another two years.
LeBron James’s current deal with the Los Angeles Lakers expires in October 2023. Still, the team renegotiated his terms and settled on $97.1 million, making him the highest-earning player in the history of the NBA.
There is a player option built into James’ new contract for the 2024–25 season, and it was recently rumored that James was considering drafting his 17-year-old son Bronny as a rookie that year.
