Paper Girls is a sci-fi series about four young girls who journey back in time to meet their adult selves after a time-traveling mistake. This hilarious time-traveler duel occurred the day after Halloween in 1988 when four females were entangled in it.
When the world depends on them to save it, chaos erupts. While mayhem ensues, the girls must decide whether or not to embrace or reject their fate.

What Can We Expect From The Paper Girls?
Amazon Prime Video’s official Twitter account shared a 41-second teaser of the film. The teaser centers on Eric, Mac, Tiffany, and KJ, four teens who are out delivering newspapers on Halloween morning in 1988.
While en way to deliver the package, they become embroiled in a conflict between two opposing time-traveling groups, potentially changing the course of their lives permanently. These young ladies have been thrust into 2019 and are tasked with figuring out how to get back in time.
On their voyage into the past, they will face the grown-up versions of themselves and face several challenges. If they want to live, these girls must put their differences aside and learn to trust one another.
To summarise the series’ premise and opening scenes as a combination between Stranger Things and The Adam Project with some Umbrella Academy-style craziness and fun sprinkled in, this new trailer gives an even more complete look.
The teaser trailer features the rest of the film’s core cast, including Ali Wong, who plays Erin’s adult counterpart. Her younger self approaches her in the year 2019. Larry is played by Nate Corddry (For All Mankind), while Prioress is played by Adina Porter (American Horror Story).
There’s also a sneak glance at Erin’s older self in a nightclub, played by Ali Wong, and KJ kissing another woman in a bedroom, played by Tiffany’s older self.
A swarm of what looks to be purple robotic fireflies covers Erin’s damaged tummy, not to mention time-travelers in white armor brandishing laser pistols as they pursue the girls through a forest.
